An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible individual to work in our friendly and well established practice to provide maternity cover. Up to full-time hours available.

General treatment room skills are needed with up to date cytology, wound management and childhood immunisations. Chronic disease management (particularly respiratory) and INR are also desirable, but not essential.

Our philosophy is to treat patients with respect and provide high quality care to all, involving our patients in their care, providing health promotion messages and support. You will be a part of an innovative team that is both caring and supportive.  We develop the skills of our staff through training programmes linked to the person and the role.

We are a PMS practice which uses EMIS web, with a combined list of 10,500 registered patients across our two modern, well-equipped premises.

What we are looking for:

We are looking to appoint one or more Medical Receptionists to join our friendly practice team.    We are a busy and vibrant medical practice, based over two sites, in Bridgwater.  The ideal candidate(s) will have proven customer service experience, have excellent keyboard skills and be able to work as part of a team.  Previous Medical Receptionist experience is advantageous, but, training will be given to the right person.   Applicants must be fully flexible to cover staff holiday and sickness.  The hours required are:

Monday 8 am to 6 pm, Thursday 1 pm to 5 pm, Friday 8 am to 6 pm.  As part of a rota the successful candidate will be expected to work on a Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm (approximately 1 in 8).
