EMERGENCY VISITS

At all times ring the Practice phone number: (08444) 772593. When requesting an emergency visit please explain the nature of the problem so that we can offer immediate advice and judge the best way of handling the emergency. Please always be ready to give directions to assist in finding the house.

HOME VISITS

Home visits are carried out if you are too ill to visit the surgery. Please always phone as early as possible in the day giving the receptionist some idea of the problem so that the doctor can assess the urgency. Please remember that home visits are very time consuming and that facilities are better in the surgery than at home. Children can usually be safely wrapped up and brought to the surgery. Patients with rashes can be put in a separate room. We request you therefore attend the surgery whenever it is possible.
